One of our favorite ways to enjoy red wine is sitting in the sunshine with a glass of seasonal sangria. A rich, colorful combination of dry red wine, fresh fruit, and spices, Spanish sangria first made its debut around 500 AD. However, sangria recipes have evolved quite a lot since then. Today, sangria cocktail recipes may include white wine, rosé, champagne, beer, and our favorite spirit, tequila.
To start your summer off on the right foot, we’ve rounded up several of our favorite tequila sangria cocktail recipes. So take a look, pick your favorite, stir up a pitcher, and pour a glass.
